The second of two bridges on the 5th to Parker Heights expansion of the Bill Klingner Trail in Quincy, IL, was set this week. Taking the trail under North 5th street, this important connection will provide a safe link to the 23-acre Parker Heights Park. It also provides unique views of some of the most scenic elements of Cedar Creek, including a small cave and ancient Native American burial mounds.
Construction is expected to be completed this year.
