Meet Ben Hummel, the newest member of our Geotechnics Team!

Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…

Ben: My name is Ben, and I enjoy spending time with my family and opportunities to perform music on stage. I love anything western, and I also enjoy sports; whether that means playing or watching.

Q: Why did you want to become a Technician?

Ben: I was looking for a better opportunity to support my family. I also wanted to follow in the footsteps of my grandfather.

Q: What piece of advice would you give someone choosing the same career?

Ben: I would recommend working hard, being dedicated to what you’re doing, and being honest. Possessing those qualities will get you where you want to be in life, and you will feel good about it.

Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?

Ben: It seems to be a very solid company with great people.

Q: If you could pick up a skill instantly, what would it be?

Ben: If I could have any skill immediately, it would be having a photographic memory. I could be great at so many things with that skill.

Q: What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Ben: I have rode bulls. I really like the cowboy and western way of life, and the adrenaline rush in doing that was out of this world.

Q: If you could live in any TV show, which one would it be?

Ben: I would probably want to be in Cheyenne Bodie, a 1950’s Western. The main character was this tall and strong man with morals, courage, and honor. He was skilled at shooting and riding horses. I guess the child in me still looks up to heroes like him.
