Meet Melissa Johnson, the newest member of our Administrative Team!

Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…

Melissa: I was born and raised in Quincy, IL, and I come from a big family, so family has always been important to me. I have three children of my own and two grandchildren that I am extremely proud of. When I am not at work, you will likely find me spending time with my immediate family.

Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?

Melissa: When interviewing for this position, I found the staff professional and courteous. They were willing to give me the opportunity to expand my knowledge. The overall culture of the company, as well as the impeccable reputation, convinced me this would be a perfect fit. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the camaraderie of working as a team.

Q: Who is your hero?

Melissa: My mom is my hero; I admire everything about her. What I love most is her ability to know just what to say to get me through any situation.

Q: If you could meet anyone from history, who would it be?

Melissa: I would have loved to have met Jacqueline Kennedy. Her style and grace has always intrigued me.

Q: Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Melissa: I am definitely an introvert. I would rather stay home reading a book or watching a movie than be out in a crowd of people.

Q: If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Melissa: I have always wanted to go to Thailand. I want to experience the different culture, food, beaches, and street life. When it comes to traveling in general, I love seeing how people in other parts of the world live in comparison to how we live in the United States.
