Meet Tom Hamilton, the newest member of our Land Surveying Team!

 


Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…

Tom: I am originally from Nauvoo, IL, and I attended Western Illinois University. In my free time, I enjoy hunting and fishing.


Q: What do you enjoy most about the types of projects you work on?

Tom: I enjoy that each new task typically presents new challenges every day. You can learn a lot each week in this career.


Q: What piece of advice would you give someone choosing the same career?

Tom: I would recommend investing in warm clothes and always paying attention to every little detail.


Q: Is there a project you’ve worked on thus far in your career that you’re proudest of?

Tom: I completed a 1,200 acre boundary survey for a large auctioneering company.


Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?

Tom: I chose Klingner because of the great office environment, friendly staff, great benefits, and real opportunity for advancement.


Q: What was your favorite subject in school?

Tom: I enjoyed history the most. I find the stories of our past interesting.


Q: Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Tom: I consider myself more of an introvert because I tend to listen more than I talk.
