Meet Sean Major, the newest member of our Land Surveying Team!

Q: Tell us a bit about yourself...

Sean: My name is Sean, and I have been in many different fields of vocation, including radio broadcasting, metal fabrication, many areas of construction, and sales of various home improvement installation services. I am a musician by hobby and enjoy being involved with many different genres of live entertainment. I live in Hannibal with my wife, Shana; two dogs; and five children, ranging in ages from 12 to 28 years old.

Q: Why did you want to become a Technician?

Sean: I have been interested in the design field since before high school.

Q: What piece of advice would you give someone choosing the same career?

Sean: Always look for ways and opportunities to add any life or vocational experience when it comes to pursuing your career goals. You may be surprised to find out how diverse and broad the design industry truly is, so it's really important that you never put limits on what you think you need to do. You'll do yourself a disservice if you find yourself having tunnel vision when it comes to your career path.

Q: What is one little known fact about you?

Sean: I can play several instruments, but cannot read music.

Q: If you could live in any TV show, which one would it be?

Sean: I would probably live in either Seinfeld or The Office (US Version).

Q: What is the most daring thing you've ever done?

Sean: I pushed myself to go out of my comfort zone to audition for a musical, and I ended up dancing on stage as part of the cast of Quincy Community Theatre's 2021 production of "CHICAGO". It was an incredible experience.

Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?

Sean: I have had an interest in working for Klingner since the mid 90's. They are an outstanding company with a wonderful staff and a long-standing, highly-respected reputation.
