Meet Luke Miller, the newest member of our Survey team in Davenport, IA!

Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…

Luke: I live in Moline and have a daughter, Sophie, and a dog, Frank. We enjoy playing outside whether it is in the backyard, park, or rivers.

Q: What inspired you to pursue a surveying career?

Luke: I didn’t know I wanted to be a surveyor until I attended my first survey course. After that, I really wasn’t interested in anything else. I am really fortunate to have found a career that provides a challenge. Boundary surveys can be very difficult and rewarding. You never know what you may encounter.

Q: If you could meet a famous person from history, who would it be?

Luke: Abraham Lincoln. He was a surveyor, amongst many other things.

Q: What sports teams do you root for?

Luke: The Chicago Blackhawks. They’re not doing well, but I still root for them.

Q: What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Luke: Skydiving. If anyone wants to go, I will go with them again.

Q: What is your favorite family recipe?

Luke: Grandma’s banana bread and mom’s chocolate chip cookies.
