Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…

Jeff: My name is Jeff. I’m 41 years old and am married to my lovely wife, Patty. We have one son that just turned 8 years old! I live in Quincy and love designing and building wood display cases, such as jersey and artifact cases.

Q: Why did you want to become a Land Surveyor?

Jeff: I wanted to become a surveyor ever since high school because I love to design and learn new things. I have always been intrigued by how roads and bridges are designed and how we use them every day.

Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?

Jeff: I wanted a change and was excited to continue my career with a well respected firm.

Q: What is your favorite hobby?

Jeff: I enjoy woodworking, collecting artifacts, reading / studying history, hunting, and being outdoors. I think it’s rewarding to design and build things from scratch.

Q: What is your thinking “go-to” when you’re working on a tough problem?

Jeff: For me, I really try to take a break from it or walk away for awhile. I’ve found that I operate best when I finish the task with a clear (not frustrated) state of mind.

Q: If you could pick up a skill instantly, what would it be?

Jeff: I have always wanted to learn how to play guitar, so picking up that skill instantly would be great!
