Klingner: Part Of A Team For Our Community4
On November 4th, voters within the Quincy Public School District will vote on passage of a school referendum. The referendum will allow the Quincy School Board to build and equip five new elementary schools, build an addition to Quincy Senior High School, acquire land, and provide technology improvements. If approved, an $89 million school bond issue will be issued to fund the building project. The building of new schools coupled with specific improvements to existing facilities will not only improve the learning environment for the children, but also indicates to perspective employers that our community values education. This endeavor will significantly reduce or eliminate the dollars needed to upkeep old, out-dated, and energy inefficient buildings. “Band-aiding” buildings can only be done for so long; it’s time to support this initiative for our children and for future generations to come! They deserve it.
Klingner & Associates is proud to be part of the architectural/engineering team that is coming together in design for this development.
