Klingner Engineer, Gavin Risley, and a team of professionals, recently published an article in Wiley Periodicals (Volume 21, Issue 3, pages 103-119, Summer 2011) – the first publication in a series for this research – titled “Development of a Waterjet System for Direct Delivery of Granular Iron and Activated Cardbon to Remediate Contaminated Aqueous Sediments”. Since his paper was published, there have been two follow-up papers published and a third is to be published this summer. This is a relatively new technology, so there was a lot of trial and error involved in developing a system to inject these remediation materials.
