St John Anglican Church

Klingner & Associates, P.C. provided Architectural/Engineering services for the design/build by Heimer Construction of a new Educational Building for St. John’s Anglican Church, 3728 Payson Road, Quincy, IL.  Facility was a poured concrete walk-out lower level with pre-engineered shell first floor with split and smooth-faced CMU to match the existing church.  Roof was a Butler standing seam metal, low sloped behind parapet walls.  Floor system was metal bar-joists, metal deck and concrete topping.

Concept Site and Floor Plans, Exterior Views (two roof options) were provided. Also prepared application for City of Quincy Special Use Ordinance for a Planned Development.  Klingner provided civil, architectural, and structural construction documents. Prepared and submitted application, stormwater calculations, and representation at City of Quincy Site Plan Review meeting. Klingner also provided plumbing, mechanical and electrical construction documents.  Existing utilities/service sizes were reviewed for adequacy to handle the additional load or determine the need for upgrade.  Existing utilities were field verified to determine location and to locate tie-in points.
