Project Summary

Klingner provided professional services for Boots Bush Park – a 14-acre park located in the southeast quadrant of the City. Quincy Park District identified the need for additional regulation size soccer fields in the community. Regrading and expansion of the existing west soccer field, along with irrigation for both fields, provided two quality regulation fields.

In addition to the soccer field improvements, the development provided recreational opportunities through walking / jogging trails, a child play area, small shelter, and accessible parking.

Also addressed was a significant amount of rainwater runoff from the Flynn Stadium parking lot located east of Boots Bush Park. This rainwater runoff was collected and stored in subsurface tanks and utilized as a source for irrigation water.
