Quincy Park District: Bob Mays Park

Klingner & Associates provided park master planning for a new park with a large shelter that included a restroom and trail connections to the Bill Klingner recreational trail.  Professional services included surveying, site design, architectural, structural and electrical.  The facility was cutting edge, as a first generation LED lighting was utilized within the shelter and for the parking lot lighting.

Project elements included a future ice skating/in-line skate facility, a lake with accessible fishing, skate board park, tennis courts, open play fields, small and large shelters, playground, cluster picnic areas, interpretive wetland areas, walk/jog interpretive outdoor educational trails, bike trails, maintenance building, pedestrian connection to residential subdivision, native tall grass prairie area, parking, LED lighting and restrooms.
