Manchester Tank - Various Inspections

Klingner has assisted Manchester Tank Company throughout the years by providing numerous structural inspections on various bridge cranes throughout their facility.

Line 3 Free Standing Bridge Crane Evaluation: Klingner & Associates provided structural services to evaluate modifications made to an existing free-standing bridge crane at Line 3. The existing structure was analyzed and additional supports and bracing were designed and detailed for the new modifications.

Prefab & QC Bridge Crane: Klingner provided structural evaluation services on the condition of existing roof structure, which supports bridge cranes in the Prefab and QC areas of the plant. Overall work consisted of reviewing and inspecting existing structural plans and field conditions, and designing an attachment for the bridge crane rails to the bottom of the existing roof trusses. Details to strengthen the existing roof trusses, were provided as needed.

Autogas Bridge Crane Evaluation: Klingner provided structural evaluation services on the condition of existing roof structure to support bridge cranes in the Autogas area of the plant. The overall work consisted of reviewing and inspecting the existing structural plans and field conditions, and designing an attachment for the bridge crane rails to the bottom of the existing roof trusses. Details to strengthen the existing roof trusses, were provided as needed.

Roof Support of Bridge Cranes: Klingner engineers provided structural evaluation services on existing conditions of the roof structure which supports several bridge cranes. The overall work consisted of reviewing and inspecting existing structural plans and field conditions and designing an attachment for the bridge crane rails to the bottom of the existing roof trusses. Details to strengthen the existing roof trusses, were provided as needed.
