Project Summary
Klingner supported Niemann Foods’ new Harvest Market with site development and geotechnical services. Located at the northeast corner of 24th and Locust Streets, this 4,000 SF convenience store features a fuel canopy over four pump islands. Parking was designed in accordance with the City of Quincy requirements.
The existing buildings were removed from the property, including the existing convenience store and residential structure to the north. Modifications were required to the existing adjacent Pizza Hut parking lot, including reconstruction of the west end of the parking lot, island, relocation of the pole sign, relocation of a light standard, and landscaping.
Additional site work included pavement and pavement marking layout; accessible parking stall provisions in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Illinois Accessibility Code; entrances; sidewalks; underground storage tanks; grading plans; Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan; site drainage, storm sewers, and storm water management as required by the City of Quincy; site utility plan; water service in accordance with City of Quincy requirements; sanitary sewer lateral connection to existing sewer; natural gas (by utility); electric (by utility); telephone and cable (by utility); and site lighting plan.
