Case New Holland
Klingner & Associates provided structural assistance to the Case New Holland Burlington plant by providing design work for additional bracing relocation in two different buildings, creating a preliminary design for column removal in another building, while designing added bracing and strengthening systems to existing building frames.
Preliminary designs were necessary for the north/south assembly line crane systems and designs for an east/west roof hung crane system, at the south end of the line. Final design for structual modifications in two buildings for the new crawler assembly line crane systems were completed. Cranes from another plant in Georgia were relocated to the Burlington plant and placed to run north/south over the assembly line that was ground supported on new columns and runways.
