Meet Samantha “Sami” Rochelle, a recent addition to our Administrative Team!
Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.
Sami: I’m a recent graduate from Arizona State University with a major in organizational leadership and a concentration in project management. I worked at Starbucks for almost three years while finishing school, so I have an unhealthy caffeine addition. I moved to Illinois when I started high school and graduated from Liberty High School, in Liberty, IL. I currently live in Quincy with my boyfriend and our cat, Butters. After graduating college, I’ve taken on new hobbies like baking and reading. I’m excited to be living in this full-time job obtaining / post graduation lifestyle.
Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?
Sami: I decided to join the Klingner team because of the family oriented office and the large opportunities to learn more within my field. I received my degree to become a project manager, but have little experience in the role. I chose Klingner to learn more about the construction industry, and I also loved that Klingner is a smaller firm and not a large corporation. Not to mention, Klingner’s friendly and inviting work environment is tough to beat.
Q: What is your thinking go-to when you’re working through a tough problem?
Sami: Whenever I encounter a tough problem, I like to break it down as much as possible. By breaking things down into smaller parts, it’s easier for me to start finding solutions and working through the problem. I try to be detail-oriented, and this is the best way for me to resolve tough problems.
Q: If you could visit any place in the world, what would it be?
Sami: I would love to visit Florence, Italy. I want to experience the art and architecture in person. I’ve also heard great things about visiting Italy and Florence specifically, so it’s on my bucket list. I’ve never been out of America, but I hope to travel overseas someday.
