Meet Grant Ohnemus, the newest member of our Environmental Engineering Team!

 


Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.

Grant: My name is Grant. I graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, and I earned a degree in crop, soil, and environmental management. My hobbies include golfing, hunting, and spending time with my friends and family.

 


Q: Why did you want to become a Technician?

Grant: I wanted to become a technician for multiple reasons. I enjoy coming to work when I know that my job is making an impact on people’s lives. Also, every day is something different for me, which I find very interesting. Environmental work is also very rewarding because you are helping keep the world as clean and safe as possible.


Q: What piece of advice would you give someone choosing the same career?

Grant: I would recommend soaking up as much knowledge as you can. There is always time to try and always time to learn something new.


Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?

Grant: I decided to join the Klingner team because I wanted to surround myself with the most intelligent people. At Klingner, everyone has a different background, but we work together to get the job done well.


Q: What is your favorite family tradition?

Grant: My favorite family tradition would be when all my family gets together on New Year’s Eve to play cards and board games.


Q: What is your favorite hobby?

Grant: My favorite hobby is golf. I enjoy the challenge and love having an excuse to hangout with my friends for four hours.
