Meet Emma Keever, the newest member of our Geotechnical Team!
Q: Why did you want to become a Technician?
Emma: I was given the opportunity to be a summer intern in the Geotechnics department. Throughout that time, I was given in-depth training fo lab and CMT work. A couple of months after my internship ended, I was offered an opportunity to transition to a full-time position. I was excited, as I missed my colleagues and job dearly. CMT work is a never-ending learning experience and it keeps me on my toes.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your work days?
Emma: I love bringing a positive energy to our team, keeping our clients happy and delivering quality work by running tests correctly.
Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?
Emma: My coworkers have given me such great advice to help me during my internship. When I would make mistakes, they would teach me the correct way. The work environment is very fast paced, which keeps me very busy, but I truly prefer it this way.
Q: What motivates you to work hard?
Emma: I am driven by my current and future family. I strive to do my best, because I’d love to be able to support them someday.
Q: If you could visit any place in the world, what would it be?
Emma: I would love to visit the Amazon Rainforest, as it has such diverse animal and plant species.
Q: What is your favorite family recipe?
Emma: I cannot get enough of my grandmother’s beef stew with fried bread.
Q: What was your first job?
Emma: I was a team member at Culver’s restaurant.
