Meet Christopher Waterkotte, the newest member of our Geotechnical / CMT Team!

 


Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…

Christopher: I was born and raised in Quincy, IL, and attended Quincy Notre Dame. I attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL. I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 2012 – 2018. I am married to my wife, Macy, and we have two daughters.


Q: Why did you want to become a technician?

Christopher: I’ve worked in the construction field, mostly concrete, for over 10 years. I really enjoy working outdoors and working in the construction industry.


Q: What piece of advice would you give someone choosing the same career?

Christopher: It’s always important to have a positive attitude in everything that you do.


Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?

Christopher: I’ve been told that it’s a great company to work for and the people here are great. I also wanted to stay in the construction field.


Q: Do you play any sports?

Christopher: I love everything about football. I’ve played it since I was 10 years old.


Q: How would your friends describe you?

Christopher: My friends would probably describe me as loyal.
