Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…
Ashleigh: I am from Altona, IL, and graduated with honors last month from Olivet Nazarene University with a BSE in Architectural Engineering. I passed the Civil FE in April 2021. I have a dog named Dunkin.
Q: Why did you want to become an Engineer?
Ashleigh: I wanted to become an engineer because I love using mathematics to solve real problems that affect communities.
Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?
Ashleigh: I joined the Klingner team because of the amazing opportunity to experience a wide variety of engineering projects in the area that I have called home my entire life.
Q: Where is the last place you’ve traveled, and what did you find interesting about it?
Ashleigh: The last placed that I traveled to was central New York, and I loved looking at the historic buildings and homes.
Q: Do you love or hate rollercoasters?
Ashleigh: I am absolutely terrified of rollercoasters!
Q: What is your favorite family tradition?
Ashleigh: My favorite family tradition is attending all of the 4th of July firework shows in my area with carry-out pizza.
