Meet Fredric Hoerr, the newest member of our MEP Team!
Q: Tell us a bit about yourself…
Fredric: I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. I graduated from Grand Canon University in Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. Immediately out of school, I spent one year working at Actalent Services as a power distribution engineer.
Q: Why did you want to become an engineer?
Fredric: I always knew that I wanted to become an electrical engineer to follow in my brothers’ footsteps.
Q: What do you enjoy most about the types of projects you work on?
Fredric: My favorite part of this career is how you have to think through how design decisions will affect people on a day-to-day basis.
Q: What piece of advice would you give someone choosing the same career?
Fredric: You should work toward getting your PE or EIT as soon as possible.
Q: Why did you decide to join the Klingner team?
Fredric: I decided to join Klingner because of the work environment and level of professionalism. Mike Klingner is great; he built an incredible company with a tremendous culture.
Q: If you could meet a famous person from history, who would it be?
Fredric: Alexander the Great! It was a really interesting time in history, and it would be neat to hear any details that no on else knows.
