Water / Wastewater Engineer Job Requirements & Responsibilities

This position will involve work with water / wastewater marketing; facilities planning; design; and permitting of water distribution systems and pumping stations, sewer collection systems and lift stations, storm water systems, and water / wastewater treatment plants. This includes the water / wastewater treatment process design and modeling, hydraulic evaluation and design, design / feasibility reporting, construction documents / specifications, and construction oversight / administration. Previous project management and project delivery experience including project planning, budgeting, and schedule monitoring and controls are preferred.

Position Requirements:

  • A B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Water/Wastewater Engineering or equivalent
  • A M.S. in Sanitary / Environmental or in Industrial Water / Wastewater Engineering is beneficial, but not required
  • 4+ years of related experience preferred; however, applicants with less experience will be considered
