Responsibilities:
- Work and present ideas in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate in a creative workplace.
- Provide mentorship to other architects as well as interior design and design staff.
- Participate and collaborate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
- Work with the project manager to supervise the design and technical development of the project.
- Produce and coordinate the production of all project graphic deliverables, including diagrams, concept plans, documentation execution, construction plans, and details to ensure quality control and completion.
- Resolve challenging technical / design issues with the team to produce innovative, technical, and constructible solutions.
- Be able to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development.
- Work directly with project managers and design team members at each project phase to coordinate the schedule and make sure the team is staying within budget.
- Maintain awareness of evolving building materials and technology.
- Develop scopes of work and opinions of probable cost.
- The ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
- Technical experience in leading construction administration efforts.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, and construction documents for conformance with design.
