We are seeking an experienced writer to join our dynamic and growing marketing team. Each day, you’ll collaborate with a creative team and diverse staff to develop everything from multimillion-dollar architecture and engineering proposals to firm-wide promotional materials. Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted, compelling proposals and qualification packages that clearly explain how our firm’s services, processes, and the technical capabilities of staff match a client’s needs and requirements.
  • Complete writing projects and coordinate reviews by marketing and professional staff to meet fixed internal and external deadlines.
  • Balance multiple proposals and marketing projects to complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with marketing staff, firm leadership, and technical staff to craft project narratives, service descriptions, whitepapers, case studies, web copy, blogs, and newsletters that effectively translate the firm’s expertise into compelling, relatable content that reinforces our reputation as industry leaders.
  • Review and provide edits for different written and / or graphics-based pieces produced by others before distribution.
  • Maintain an organized library of written stock language, templates, and visual assets for use by the department.
  • Support our online presence through the creation of engaging social media posts that effectively address our target audiences, maintain our voice, and promote our brand within larger campaigns.
  • Assist in writing press releases for our various office locations to send to key media outlets.
  • Help align content strategies with the company’s broader goals and objectives to contribute to revenue growth.
  • Research industry topics and trends to help continuously refresh content for changing standards, trends, and client expectations.
  • Explore new ways to help increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate leads, and support overall marketing objectives.
  • Develop graphic design skillset with marketing staff to create compelling print and digital layouts, using multiple programs, that align with branding standards and are visually appealing.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing or copywriting position.
  • Background in content creation, with a deep understanding of marketing processes and creating content for each part of the funnel.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in generating and executing proposals, blogs, articles, website copy, ad copy, video scripts, press releases, and emails that align with a company’s growth and market dynamics.
  • Strong interviewer, project ownership, and organizational skills.
  • Degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Google or Microsoft Office (Word and Excel and / or Docs and Sheets) is a must.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere) is a plus.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the A/E/C industry is a plus; experience in an architecture, engineering, or design firm is especially valuable.

Salary Range: $22-$30
Salaries may vary based on experience and qualifications. The listed ranges are typical.
