Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to develop a building program into a building design.
  • Produce construction documents from sketches, notes, dialogue, and other details.
  • Participate with all phases of the design process, including programming, concept design, schematic design, and design development.
  • Work and present ideas in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate in a creative workplace.
  • Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
  • Use good written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong organizational skills to complete projects.
  • Produce graphic presentations, including 3D renderings, for client and internal design presentations.
  • Attend and actively participate in project team meetings.
  • Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with frequent interaction and direction from project leadership.
  • Report to intermediate and senior-level coworkers regularly.
  • Attend and actively participate in project team meetings.
  • Travel occasionally to support project tasks.
  • Comply with office standards.
  • Take field measurements and attend field site inspections.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3+ years of work experience, with at least 2 years developing architectural and engineering drawings (school experience can count toward this number).
  • Bachelor Degree in Architecture OR non-professional Bachelor Degree within a school offering a NAAB accredited program required. B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited program required.
  • Proficiency in using Revit and Adobe Suites is required.
  • Additional proficiency with Enscape or other rendering software, Bluebeam, and / or Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace is also a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

NOTE: Portfolios must be submitted for all design positions (Architecture, Interiors, Planning, etc). Interest Forms without work samples will not be reviewed. Portfolios should highlight your role on the project(s) and be one PDF attachment, 10-20 pages, maximum 5 MB. Submit portfolios as part of your Interest Form in the section where you are asked to upload your Resume or CV.

Salary Range: $25-$34
Salaries may vary based on experience and qualifications. The listed ranges are typical.
