We’re Local
By living in or near the communities we serve, we have a strong understanding of the local business climate and conditions. We also know local manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
A new building or a major renovation requires top notch project management, planning, and follow-through.
We’ll begin by getting to know your business and working closely with key stakeholders to make sure we understand your expectations. Working collaboratively, our expert teams will deliver a timely, well-articulated design that has a positive impact on your staff, clients, and culture.
Commercial / corporate projects often necessitate a wide range of expertise. Klingner’s dedicated staff of architects, interior designers, engineers, and technicians can take your work to the next level.
A complete transformation of the existing mezzanine office allowed Klingner professionals to create a half open / half closed space with three open office areas, five conference rooms, two huddle rooms, a training room, 18 private offices, a café, a mother’s room, a physical therapy room, a walking station, a mailroom, and a number of storage rooms.
The overall objective was to realize a visually appealing office environment to attract and retain employees.
Design and branding are important in corporate / commercial spaces.
Klingner can work with your established standards, corporate professionals, or help you create your own unique design criteria. We have worked with franchises and independent businesses to establish a customized look and feel.
If you haven’t determined your interior or exterior design direction, our experts will begin a dialogue with you that leads to the creation of several mood boards. These displays help narrow down an aesthetic. Through building design and space planning, as well as material selection, we will develop an environment that reinforces your business practice, highlights your customer connections, and leaves visitors with a wonderful impression.
How do you know if a site is right for you? First, you will need a rough idea of the project scope, including the number of staff, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, pantry / kitchen, dining space, showrooms, etc.
Once we know the basics, we can estimate the overall footprint and begin the site selection process. Klingner professionals can examine various locations for their relative advantages and disadvantages, reviewing items like zoning, accessibility, setbacks, utilities, environmental conditions, topography, and geotechnical conditions.
If you are looking for an existing building, we can review the size; structural integrity; roof, facade, and building systems conditions; projected energy costs; environmental conditions; appropriate egress; ADA compliance; and more.
