River Surveying

Bathymetric/Hydrographic

Bathymetric/Hydrographic surveying can be used for a variety of applications (dredging, port design, hydropower design, etc.). The Water Resources and Surveying Departments have performed several of these surveys and possess the resources necessary to perform such a survey.

Current Profiling

Current profiling using an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler is a specialized type of survey that Klingner's Water Resources Department has performed in the past. This type of survey is used in modeling the affects of construction on or within the banks of a river or stream, and has been used in navigation predictions associated with hydropower projects.
