GIS /PLANNER SPECIALIST:
The successful candidate may manage small projects or have
significant roles on larger projects. In
addition, the candidate may assist with engineering and/or surveying projects,
including, base map preparation and survey data download and processing.
GIS implementation or spatially enabled applications and database development
and planning experience and experience developing complete applications in one
or more of the following languages/platforms: Avenue, Arc Macro Language (AML),
MapObjects and MapObjects
IMS, ArcIMS, Visual Basic, and VBA for ArcInfo is required.
Knowledge in CAD packages such as AutoCad and MicoStation a plus.
A minimum of 2 years GIS project management experience, and/or application development experience, also civil engineering site planning, environmental and permitting experience a plus.
4-Year degree (geography, civil engineering, landscape
architecture or related science) (required)
Masters degree (geography, planning, engineering or related science)
(preferred)
Advanced GIS software vendor training (preferred)
